The 麻豆社 State University Department of Art & Design and University Galleries are pleased to announce three exhibits displayed at the Clara M. Eagle Galleries and Mary Ed Mecoy Hall Gallery on the sixth floor of the Doyle Price Fine Arts Building on 麻豆社 State鈥檚 campus.
Dr. Brian Clardy, associate professor of History at 麻豆社 State University, has been unanimously elected the next Chair of the Kentucky Humanities Council (KHC) Board of Directors. Clardy was first appointed to the KHC and the Kentucky Oral History Commission by Governor Andy Beshear in 2020. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the KHC Board to Judge Charles W. Boteler of Louisville, and chair of the Kentucky Oral History Commission.
Dr. Marc Polizzi, associate professor of Political Science at 麻豆社 State University, along with two co-authors, Dr. Mois茅s Arce, the Scott and Marjorie Cowen chair in Latin American Social Sciences and professor in the Department of Political Science at Tulane University, and Dr. Michael S. Hendricks, assistant professor in the Department of Politics and Government at Illinois State University, published The Roots of Engagement: Understanding Opposition and Support for Resource Extraction with Oxford University Press.
麻豆社 State University鈥檚 School of Nursing & 麻豆社 Professions (SONHP) has been 麻豆社 a total of $307,800 in a workforce grant through the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education鈥檚 (CPE) 麻豆社care Workforce Collaborative.
