Women's Center

Mission Statement:

The mission of the 鶹 State Women’s Center is to assess the concerns of the study body in order to address personal, professional, and academic needs through direct resources and programming. We work to address barriers that prevent full participation in campus life while also creating opportunities to build habits that contribute to success. Consistent with the goals of the university, the Women's Center works to promote a campus community that is supportive of a diverse body of students.

We offer travel size personal care products including, but not limited to deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. These items are available to any student who has a need.

If your group would like to host a drive to collect items for this service, please contact the Women's Center at msu.womenscenter@murraystate.edu.

The Women's Center added this resource in November 2018 to help meet a need that was communicated by students working in the Center. Students can visit the bra closet to receive 2 free, second-hand bras. The Women's Center also accepts donations of new or gently-used bras. Donations can be dropped off at the Women's Center during normal business hours.

The Women's Center offers free period products to any student who may have a need. These are available for a one-time need and also for short-term supply in cases of financial hardship. Products are available for grab and go in the Women's Center front lobby during normal business hours. Donations of period products can be dropped off at the Women's Center during normal business hours as well.

Any student in need of cold weather accessories such as gloves or beanies, can visit the Women's Center to receive these items for free. We also collect gently used winter coats and have these available for students as they are donated.
